This gorgeous 18th century Dutch Walnut Chest was very much in need of restoration as it was missing some of its veneer after having been exposed extensively to water.
Only a total disassembly, the structural consolidation of each of its individual pieces, as well as an entire cleaning and drying process for over four weeks have saved this wonderfully bombe-shaped Chest.
